JESSE N BERNHEIM, ESQ.

Jesse Bernheim is a founding partner of Bernheim Dolinsky Kelley, LLC . Jesse was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and received a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. Following graduation, Jesse moved to Miami, Florida and attended the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables where he graduated cum laude (with honors) in 2001.

Accomplishments

“I am a trial lawyer and have been trying cases since 2001, soon after I was sworn into the Florida Bar. I have devoted my professional career to helping people recover damages from insurance companies and large greedy corporations”.

Jesse’s very first jury trial resulted in a million dollar verdict in Miami Dade Circuit court. Since that first Jury Trial Jesse has litigated countless cases to Verdict and recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

He has represented victims of all sorts including those hurt by dangerous and defective products, people injured from motor vehicle, trucking or motorcycle accidents, families or people that have suffered from a construction site accident, nursing home abuse, negligent security or sexual abuse. He has successfully resolved numerous cases for thousands of clients with several individual recoveries in excess of $1 million and in the multi-millions of dollars.

In recent years Jesse has taken on some of the largest medical device and pharmaceutical drug companies in the world. He was appointed State Court Liaison by the Honorable Judge Donovan Frank in MDL 2441: In re Stryker Rejuvenate and ABGII Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation and was an integral part of the leadership that litigated the case ultimately resolving for 1.43 Billion Dollars.

Jesse also served as settlement counsel on behalf of a group of individuals that suffered injury as a result of a dangerous over the counter medication that resolved for $10 million, with several clients receiving settlements over $1 million each.

$1.03 MILLION dollar policy limits for a Palm Beach woman who was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle that was negligently started remotely causing it to roll over her and causing severe injury to both legs consisting of flap avulsion and need for temporary removal of her prosthetic hip.

$2.8 MILLION to a Florida woman who suffered a severe neurological injury as a result of a Defective Drug. As a result of her injuries she was no longer able to work in the service industry in which she was employed prior to becoming disabled due to the product.

$1.125 MILLION to a woman who suffered injuries as a result of permanent injuries due to a defective medical device.

$2.2 MILLION for a man who suffered debilitating injuries as a result of the frequent consumption of an over the counter pharmaceutical product.

$1.250 MILLION to a man who suffered injuries as a result of a defective hip implant.

$1.280 MILLION for a woman who suffered injuries as a result of a defective total hip implant.

$580,000 for a woman in northern Florida who suffered injuries following a car accident as a result of a negligently designed seatbelt.

$1.53 MILLION for a Miami-Dade police officer who sustained fractures to his right tibia and fibula and a shattered left femur due to a hazardous construction zone with inadequate signage and warnings.

Jesse resides in South Florida and works out of the firms Ft. Lauderdale office.   He is married with 3 children. Despite his personal achievements Jesse’s personal accomplishment of being a great husband and father is his biggest source of pride.
